Togo sofa, chrome countertops, pharmacy-style soap bottles…What defines the aesthetics of the 2020’s and how will we recognize it in the future?
I was invited to create two covers and four illustrations for Zeit Magazine’s 14th issue, dedicated to design. The visuals follow a mini narrative centered around a slightly confused alien arriving on Earth and encountering the aesthetics and trends of the 2020s. The storyline adds a layer of humor to the article while also tying the illustrations together into a cohesive visual sequence.
