Who We Are, Where We Came From, and Where We’re Headed

✷ Pink Salt approached me with an open brief for MTV's International Women's Day ident. It was an amazing opportunity to bring a personal creative vision to a global broadcast platform.

I started with a single illustration that captured the feeling of celebration and defiance. From there, I started developing the storyboard and the animatic. I put a lot of focus on camera movement - cutting to extreme angles and making sure it always stays dynamic. This constant travelling of the camera helped creating the wild and edgy feel, which, to me, was capturing both the energy of the celebration and the style language of MTV idents.
