Blijdorp Festival invited me to collaborate with Rotterdam-based design studio Vormlust on animated 3D visuals for the annual music festival in Rotterdam. The festival’s original characters, Wuppies, were created by Vormlust and previously existed only in 2D. The project focused on translating these playful, colorful designs into motion and giving them a more tactile, three-dimensional presence. The final renders were used across social media, city posters, and as part of the festival’s physical props and VJ visuals.
