Plastique - typeface showcase for Kilotype (2025)

Plastique is a typeface developed by the award-winning foundry KiloType, referencing plastic manufacturing techniques. Taking inspiration from the typeface’s narrative and its strong connection to plastic toy production, I started exploring the themes of childhood wonder and never-ending curiosity. In this world of Plastique, the characters became characters - jumpy, glossy, plasticky little life forms inhabiting a colorful, playful landscape where typography and toys blur together.
